Acupuncture is not painful. It often creates a feeling of tingling, warmth or heaviness. The sensation varies between individuals and between treatments, and although the feeling may be unfamiliar, the experience can be pleasant and relaxing.

In this modern era, acupuncture can be provided in several ways.  This include:

  • Traditional acupuncture - used of micro-needles to stimulate the acupoints

  • Laser Acupuncture - the use of infrared laser pen to stimulate the acupoints.

  • Needle-free Acupuncture - the use of small electronic current through the motion of vibration to stimulate the acupoints.

  • Ear Acupuncture - by taping a small plant seed or a tiny ear-needle on the ear acupoints to achieve a continually  stimulation on the points.
